Low-tonnage LNG in Russia: production opportunities and demand challenges

Russia is actively developing domestic production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), however, difficulties arise with its implementation on the market. One of the main reasons is the slow growth rate of the gas—powered fleet. As a result, we are faced with a situation: there is enough production, but demand does not meet expectations.

Despite the positive developments in the industry, it is necessary to solve problems with increasing gas consumption in order to maintain the successful development of the sector.
